Our mission is to provide healthy, educational martial arts programs for the mind, body and spirit that fosters self-improvement, respect, self-defense and physical fitness for students of all ages and abilities.

Andrew Gause's Martial Arts offers instruction to both adults and children in a safe and supportive atmosphere. We have two locations in the Ravenworth Shopping Center in Springfield, Virginia and in Fairfax Station Square in Fairfax Station, Virginia. Andrew Gause's Martial Arts has produced champions in life as well as in the martial arts.
Accommodations
Our training area is spacious and is fully matted with Swain Mats, the best available mats for martial arts. We offer the perfect environment for students to exercise and practice their martial art skills with top of the line training equipment to compliment the instruction.
Each student is provided storage space for their equipment bag and shoes. Whether enjoying an exciting indoor training game or practicing their latest martial arts form, Andrew Gause's Martial Arts students will find our facilities the perfect environment for learning.

Not just an “Activity”
Yes--we do a lot of kicking and punching, but more importantly, we help our students to become better in all areas of their life. We stress the importance of and teach all of our students about respect, focus, perseverance, etc. From our Preschool Tigers program to the Black Belt graduation (and beyond) - students are consistently developed and mentored to reach their individual potential.
Character Education Program
We compliment the life skills we are already teaching to students in class with our own unique program. Topics include: etiquette, thankfulness, pride, dependability, and goal setting.
Fairfax County Public Schools Official Business Partner
We are partnered with five Fairfax County public schools (Kings Park Elementary, North Springfield Elementary, Ravensworth Elementary, Wakefield Forest Elementary, Terra Centre Elementary and Fairview Elementary) to help improve students' lives and education.

Comprehensive Curriculum
We offer a well rounded approach to Taekwondo, focusing on all aspects of training, as well as, integrating fitness and complementary skills from other Martial Arts---all, in a fun and clear way.
Advanced Training and Education Facility
We have two convenient locations (Ravensworth is just off of Braddock Road and Route 495 and Fairfax Station is just off of Ox Road and Burke Centre Parkway)---getting to class is easy. Our large training areas have about 3000 square feet of mat space (per location) is well maintained and houses only the best equipment.
Diverse and Personalized Programs
With a wide variety for all ages and abilities, we proudly offer: Children’s Classes, Family Classes, Preschool-age Classes, Adult and Teen Classes, After School Program, Summer Camps, Birthday Parties, and more. There is something for everyone---and at a convenient time.
Excellent Students
Our students (as stated at the top) learn to excel in many areas of life. They are active in the community, have a 3.5 GPA (on average) by the time they earn their Black Belt and excel in many other things.
Students Stay with us for a Long Time
Students come from miles around--and stay for many years. Just watch our High Belt Classes, where our students continue to strive to be their best. These classes are just as full as our beginner classes--proof that they “stick with us” over the years.

Flexible Schedule
Students are not locked into days and times, so if your schedule changes you may change your class day/time to fit your needs.

Just wanted to take a few moments and thank you for the excellent instruction both my son and I enjoy. I hope that others can appreciate the level of skill and teaching that they are getting. I was transferred around the country quite a bit, and could not find a school that compared to your high level of detail, quality instruction and well organized curriculum. There are a very few true Dojangs and Masters.

Great Instructors!
After trying many different area activities for our twin daughters we found Andrew Gause’s Martial Arts! I was initially concerned that our children would not maintain interest but week after week and month after month they are still excited to go to class.
